  1. Nice slow easy class for beginners. Intermediate people may find it a little too easy, but good for days you want to take it easy. Still miss the Namaste Beautiful Yogis theme though :'(

Oh I just loved this one like all of your classes, dear Ali….the stagnation on my couch the last MONTHish+ recovering from laryngitis and bronchitis and plain yuck makes me appreciate you all the more for this first class upon returning…just love the universal alignment of your offering matching my needs. Fitness brought me to yoga before I got pregnant 15 years ago. Your words are spot on with all of it being deeper and intertwined. The deadlift-lunge-squat combo was amazing as was softening into child's pose at the end. SO WONDERFUL. Thank you always.   4. Seriously who dares disliking such fantastic videos, expressing so much experience, technique, love and generosity? Thank you Ali, for sharing so much, for your expertise and good mood and vibe. You are a person I always think about and you have brought me a lot throughout the years, especially as I began yoga with you nearly 5 years ago from scratch, and it saved me emotionally. Lots of love from Cyprus – PS I LOVE LOVE LOVE this room, and the window behind you! When I see the leaves moving in the wind, thinking it's Texas, and your world, and you bring it to us all, it makes me feel wonderful!

  5. You asked a question at the start of this class – 'contemplate why you come to your mat.' I could write essays on this subject and never be able to explain all the reasons (some are feelings beyond explanation/language/human capacity). My reasons also change much like my reasons for a vegan diet as I evolve/change. Two reasons stand out though and they are presence and conscious awareness. Thank you for this classic class and a reminder to stay on top of our game. I found it quite easy but great for a Monday morning to ease into the week. Downward dog is my challenging pose – I will never perfect it. What a lovely lesson to constantly strive, adjust but also relax, enjoy and let go. Thank you again. x
