  1. Wow people can be such haters in the comments. With the exception of the tofu that all actually looked really good! I'm not a fan of tofu so I'd probably switch it with chicken.

  2. You should really learn how to cook before you meal prep. What you’ve given here isn’t a sustainable diet for anyone. No flavor, seasoning, or balance.= gross

  3. Thanks Jordan I’m a single mom on a budget and a lot of other meal prep hauls don’t tell you the cost or it’s usually way out of budget so thank you for showing people that they can eat healthy on a budget.

  4. Walmart and WinCo have canned veg for $0.50 which blows my mind

    That includes no salt added which is the only kind i buy almost all of the time. There's nothing wrong with canned food and it's great for disabled people who may use up all their energy shopping then not be able to cook for a few days afterward. They don't go bad if you're sick for a week.

  5. I think using a combination of fresh vegetables and canned vegetables is inexpensive and can be delish. Rice, beans and pasta can be cooked with herbs, onion and garlic. Meats, chicken, turkey and fish can also be inexpensive and make lots of dinners. It can all be very cost effective and tasty.

  6. Yikes! I could never eat the same meals day after day. Yeah, I would lose weight because after the second day of that I would just stop eating!

  7. Don't buy canned beans or really anything you can buy dried. It's way cheaper dried, especially beans and rice. You can get a good few pound bag for about the same as one or two can's price and get about three times more. It may look small at first but you soak it and it doubles in size. You don't eat beans dry, pretty sure you can get sick on that lol. I eat white rice dry sometimes if I'm on the run, but I like it and its definetly not for everyone.
